today jonah got a new pair of shoes, which are totally cute vans.....as you can all see :) thanks nana!!!!!! okay, she also got him the shorts, but hey we are showing off our new kicks right now......we have to focus!!!! daddy, dont you think they are cool???!!?! cant wait to show you :)

back in december...

the two loves of my life back in december....jonah was only 1month old...amazing how time flies. i love you two soo much!!!!!!

so jonah is trying so hard with this whole crawling thang. he gets up on all four and then starts rockin' but doesnt seem to get anywhere....yet. he can pull his legs forward, but then does a faceplant....poor guy gets himself all flustered. i know that seriously any day now i am going to put him down somewhere and turn around and he is going to be gone.....crawling around!!

happy morning

this morning was so nice!! when i got back from going to the gym and pickin' up a little coffee for myk and i, jonah was so happy to see me. he was playing with his activity center and when he saw me it was all smiles. when i picked him up, he just kept cuddling with me. i didnt enjoy that or anything....haha. doesnt get much better if ya ask me :) ohhh...and yes that is my little guys slober on my right shoulder.

yes...he is wearing a hoodie in the heat of the summer. this morning our house was frigid, since the windows were open last night. i dont want my baby to get cold!!!

lovin' summer

so this weekend my fam came into town. it was so nice, as usual, having them here. they actually watched jonah for myk and i while we went to a rehearsal dinner on friday night. they also watched him saturday afternoon through the evening while we were at a wedding. i was a little nervous because both nights my parents fed him and put him to bed...i am the only one who has done that...until now. well, i dont know why i was nervous....he did great, which is so exciting!!! so my parents headed back yesterday evening, but they left my brother and cousin for the week to hang out with us. so i am stuck with a house full of testosterone....yikes....haha. so we went to the pool today...thanks jane and josh. then we went on a walk this evening...the perfect summer day in my book!

getting so big

jonah is just amazing to me!!! well i know...of course he is. he is my little boy, but that is it....he is my little boy and does not seem like a baby as often anymore. well he is sitting up by himself and that is such an accomplishment for the little wee one :) okay, i know he is totally still a baby, but it is just crazy how time flies!! and i know....amazing how he is already posing for pictures...haha.
